.ELEMENT

module | boutique hotel

Visual merging of construction and design achieved through the usage of wood. Nevertheless every single element is visible, including the construction.

Spruce is used as construction material and spreads throughout the interior creating a comfortable atmosphere.

The ceiling-high glazing provides a generous light incidence and a strong connection to the exterior, which varies due to the mobility of the module.

The window frames are non-visible, whereby exterior and interior merge, which participates to creating a feeling of openness.

The longitudinal structure of the room provides comfort through its massive wooden ceiling on one hand. The glazing on the other hand, seems to pull the resident into the exterior as part of his environment.
